GE Transportation reported that it will provide seven L250 inline diesel engines for three separate projects in the United States. For the first contract, GE will provide Crescent Towing with four six-cylinder L250 engines. Two L250 diesels each will power two new tugboats that will use an Azimuth steering drive system. GE will provide MSHS with two L250 inline diesels to replace engines on Cross Sound Ferry’s John H. vehicle and passenger ferry. Separately, GE will provide Dredging Supply with one six-cylinder L250 generator set, rated at 1.5 MW.
