GEA Westfalia Separator Systems has launched a new range of mineral oil separators that have been customised to meet the requirements of the marine industry as well as for oil field, energy technology and general industry use.
The new eagleclass separators are reportedly more compact, lighter, with fewer wear parts and lower energy consumption. They incorporate a sensor system which ensures that oil losses during the discharge process are minimised even further.
Instead of the previous four OSD basic types, the Westfalia Separator eagleclass now has six basic types OSE 5 to OSE 120. The further breakdown with different disc stacks now means that a total of 19 different sizes are available, making it possible for systems to be customised to meet the required throughput capacity for continuous processing of fuel and lubricating oils.
