Pump series gets redesign
Submitted by powerservices on Sat, 07/26/2008 - 12:31.Richter Chemie-Technik GmbH has introduced the new MNK, a single-stage, sealless, chemical centrifugal pump of heavy-duty horizontal design.
Richter first launched this plastic-lined pump series 20 years ago, however, the pump has been redesigned to be even more maintenance-friendly. The product is qualified for a variety of processes, such as chlor-alkali electrolysis, sulphuric acid, MDI and TDI, recycling and in plastic and special fibre production.
Used for media where stainless steel, special cast iron and conventional plastics are not sufficiently resistant to corrosion, Richter says the MNK is an alternative to pumps made of expensive, exotic metals such as Hastelloy, Monel, nickel, tantalum.
