Detailed description for the tender is as follows:

Description:
Tenders are invited for Construction of the Hassyan power and desalination plant, phase 1, with capacity of 1,500MW of power and 120 million gallons a day of water.

The scope of works is divided into two packages:

1) power plant package P, consisting of gas turbines associated with heat recovery steam generators, auxiliary boilers, back pressure steam turbines and all associated works; and

2) desalination package D, consisting of multi-stage flash desalination units, seawater pumps, drinking water pipes and all associated works
