gas conversion to LNG

In collaboration with Cryotec Anlagenbau GmbH, the Bilfinger subsidiary Bilfinger EMS has developed a concept for transforming small volumes of gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG). This includes processing gas from various sources, providing the corresponding liquefaction technology and supplying LNG for further use in Europe. As part of this partnership, we will be able to provide all the required services throughout the life cycle, under one roof, from the planning of LNG installations to their installation. This will permanently strengthen our position in the market.

LNG is often used away from major import terminals. As a result, facilities that can produce small amounts of fuel locally and deliver it where it is needed will play an increasingly important role in the future.

Indeed, small modular liquefaction plants can provide a reliable, uninterrupted supply chain, from the gas source directly to the end user. We look forward to working with Bilfinger EMS. Our comprehensive expertise will enable us to provide our customers with end-to-end solutions for small LNG facilities, which can be tailored to their needs and made in Germany.

Cryotec specializes in cryogenic air separation and liquefaction systems and provides its own in-house engineering and manufacturing services for this purpose. Bilfinger provides two services: technology, engineering and maintenance. Bilfinger is mainly active in Continental Europe, North-West Europe, North America and the Middle East. Processing industry customers come from the chemical, petrochemical, energy and utilities, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceuticals, metallurgy and cement industries.
