Modern Water plc has won the Achievement in Sustainability award at the 2009 AIM Awards

Modern Water plc has won the Achievement in Sustainability award at the 2009 AIM Awards, organized by the London Stock Exchange.

The water technology company was recognized by the voting panel for its efforts in economic, environmental and social sustainability. Modern Water owns and is developing a portfolio of water technologies that help to address the global problems of fresh water availability and the treatment and disposal of wastewater. One of Modern Water’s core assets is a desalination technology that uses a patented manipulated osmosis (MO) process.

AIM is the London Stock Exchange’s international market for smaller growing companies. Modern Water plc is listed on the AIM market.

“We are delighted to have won this prestigious award, a prize that fully recognises the values at the heart of Modern Water. Environmental responsibility and sustainable behaviour have, and always will be, at the core of our business.
